I HATE DUBBED ADS! ARGH!

I can understand if a company can't afford to make a new one for each country they operate. However, if a company is not smart enough - or thoughtful enough - to create an advert that can easily be edited for different audiences then I don't want to buy their product. Bad dubbing on British tv ads just shows that they didn't take into account all of their customers when making the ad.

We're not stupid enough to fall for these attempts to appeal to a British audience - we can see by your crappy lip-syncing that the UK was a second thought.

The one where I confess my love for Gaga...

Shiny shiny

I'm feeling good. Like the new background?

I have a tutorial this afternoon which I did the work for last week, so I'm able to get on with other stuff that I need to do instead of rush the work right beforehand like I've found myself doing many many times before. It feels so good! I'm being productive! Woo!

I think I shall be making a video later tonight. Not sure what it's gonna be but I have a couple of ideas. Something to make me giggle at least...

Then I'm off to my friend's house to watch Glee. Yaaay! We're soooo cool.

Quite possibly the best Mac spoof ever

I love E4 so much... They make the best adverts ever. And they show Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars BACK TO BACK. Me = happy bunny!

Soooo Tired....

Well... I've been very busy lately. Exams, lectures, tutorials, switching classes and having to catch up, readings, dance classes, teaching dance classes, choreographing, photoshoots, designing and creating a logo for a show, social events and a ball.

I'm bloody knackered.

I've not been able to make a new video for ages and it's annoying me - it's just that every time i get some free time I'm too tired to think of anything interesting to make a video about. I don't want to be clogging up youtube with rubbish...

So this is an apology for not being very interesting on here cause my life's been too busy. woooo... I'll try make another video as soon as I can.

Boycott Kraft?

I've decided to boycott Kraft now that they've backed down on their promise to keep one of their UK factories open and 400 jobs are going to be lost just weeks after buying out the UK's beloved chocolate company, Cadbury's.

When looking at all the people saying they were going to do so on Twitter, I thought "i can do this too!". Then Phil Jupitus (@jupitusphillip on twitter) posted this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Kraft_brands

Crap. They own like, everything. Big problem for me is Mikado and Daim... I'll just have to deal with it though... *sobs*

Fortunately the everything they own is bad for people anyway. Coffee, Chocolate, processed Cheese, crappy Childrens packaged meals (i.e. lunchables), vegemite and cup-a-pasta or whatever it is. It's all processed crap that we shouldn't be eating in the first place.

Some people are afraid that by boycotting Kraft, more workers will lose their jobs - but the WHOLE POINT of this is that we're saying that if they don't close the factory, we will buy their stuff again. It's like workers going on strike but hopefully more affective as we're the ones that give them money, not the other way round. If anyone knows of a petition to add to the cause and make Kraft listen to consumers, please put it as a comment on this post. Thanks!

So, this Lent, why not give up everything Kraft? You'll be standing up for people losing their jobs and you'll probably get a lot thinner too...

Robin Hood Tax - damn I love Bill Nighy!

I think this is a great idea. What do you think of all this? Good? Bad? Don't care?
